누가 6:17-26

예수께서 그들과 함께 산에서 내려오셔서, 평지에 서셨다. 거기에 그의 제자들이 큰 무리를 이루고, 또 온 유대와 예루살렘과 두로 및 시돈 해안 지방에서 모여든 많은 백성이 큰 무리를 이루었다.

그들은 예수의 말씀도 듣고, 또 자기들의 병도 고치고자 하여 몰려온 사람들이다. 악한 귀신에게 고통을 당하던 사람들은 고침을 받았다.

온 무리가 예수에게 손이라도 대보려고 애를 썼다. 예수에게서 능력이 나와서 그들을 모두 낫게 하였기 때문이다.

예수께서 눈을 들어 제자들을 보시고 말씀하셨다. "너희 가난한 사람들은 복이 있다. 하나님의 나라가 너희의 것이다.

너희 지금 굶주리는 사람들은 복이 있다. 너희가 배부르게 될 것이다. 너희 지금 슬피 우는 사람들은 복이 있다. 너희가 웃게 될 것이다.

사람들이 너희를 미워하고, 인자 때문에 너희를 배척하고, 욕하고, 너희의 이름을 악하다고 내칠 때에는, 너희는 복이 있다.

그 날에 기뻐하고 뛰놀아라. 보아라, 하늘에서 받을 너희의 상이 크다. 그들의 조상들이 예언자들에게 이와 같이 행하였다.

그러나 너희, 부요한 사람들은 화가 있다. 너희가 너희의 위안을 받고 있기 때문이다.

너희, 지금 배부른 사람들은 화가 있다. 너희가 굶주리게 될 것이기 때문이다. 너희, 지금 웃는 사람들은 화가 있다. 너희가 슬퍼하며 울 것이기 때문이다.

모든 사람이 너희를 좋게 말할 때에, 너희는 화가 있다. 그들의 조상들이 거짓 예언자들에게 이와 같이 행하였다.

17 He came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea, Jerusalem, and the coast of Tyre and Sidon. 18 They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. 19 And all in the crowd were trying to touch him, for power came out from him and healed all of them.

20 Then he looked up at his disciples and said:

“Blessed are you who are poor,

    for yours is the kingdom of God.

21 “Blessed are you who are hungry now,

    for you will be filled.

“Blessed are you who weep now,

    for you will laugh.

22 “Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you[d] on account of the Son of Man. 23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for surely your reward is great in heaven; for that is what their ancestors did to the prophets.

24 “But woe to you who are rich,

    for you have received your consolation.

25 “Woe to you who are full now,

    for you will be hungry.

“Woe to you who are laughing now,

    for you will mourn and weep.

26 “Woe to you when all speak well of you, for that is what their ancestors did to the false prophets.
