마가4:35-41

그 날 저녁이 되었을 때에, 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. "바다 저쪽으로 건너가자."

 그래서 그들은 무리를 남겨 두고, 예수를 배에 계신 그대로 모시고 갔는데, 다른 배들도 함께 따라갔다.

그런데 거센 바람이 일어나서, 파도가 배 안으로 덮쳐 들어오므로, 물이 배에 벌써 가득 찼다.

예수께서는 고물에서 베개를 베고 주무시고 계셨다. 제자들이 예수를 깨우며 말하였다. "선생님, 우리가 죽게 되었는데도, 아무렇지도 않으십니까?"

예수께서 일어나 바람을 꾸짖으시고, 바다더러 "고요하고, 잠잠하여라" 하고 말씀하시니, 바람이 그치고, 아주 고요해졌다.

예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "왜들 무서워하느냐? 아직도 믿음이 없느냐?"

 그들은 큰 두려움에 사로잡혀서 서로 말하였다. "이분이 누구이기에, 바람과 바다까지도 그에게 복종하는가?"

35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, ‘Let us go across to the other side.’ 36And leaving the crowd behind, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. Other boats were with him. 37A great gale arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped. 38But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and said to him, ‘Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?’ 39He woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm. 40He said to them, ‘Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?’ 41And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, ‘Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?’

마가11:22-24

예수께서는 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "하나님을 믿어라.

내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 누구든지 이 산더러 '번쩍 들려서 바다에 빠져라' 하고 말하고, 마음에 의심하지 않고 말한 대로 될 것을 믿으면, 그대로 이루어질 것이다.

그러므로 나는 너희에게 말한다. 너희가 기도하면서 구하는 것은 무엇이든지, 이미 그것을 받은 줄로 믿어라. 그리하면, 너희에게 그대로 이루어질 것이다.

22Jesus answered them, ‘Have* faith in God. 23Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, “Be taken up and thrown into the sea”, and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. 24So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received* it, and it will be yours.
