마 10:40-42

"너희를 맞아들이는 사람은 나를 맞아들이는 것이요, 나를 맞아들이는 사람은 나를 보내신 분을 맞아들이는 것이다. 예언자를 예언자로 맞아들이는 사람은, 예언자가 받을 상을 받을 것이요, 의인을 의인이라고 해서 맞아들이는 사람은, 의인이 받을 상을 받을 것이다. 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 이 작은 사람들 가운데 하나에게, 내 제자라고 해서 냉수 한 그릇이라도 주는 사람은, 절대로 자기가 받을 상을 잃지 않을 것이다.“

‘Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward; and whoever welcomes a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive the reward of the righteous; and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.’
