아기 예수와 나는....(마 1:18-25,롬 1:1-7)

Matthew 1:18-25

예수 그리스도의 태어나심은 이러하다. 그의 어머니 마리아가 요셉과 약혼하고 나서, 같이 살기 전에, 마리아가 성령으로 잉태한 사실이 드러났다. 마리아의 남편 요셉은 의로운 사람이라서 약혼자에게 부끄러움을 주지 않으려고, 가만히 파혼하려 하였다. 요셉이 이렇게 생각하고 있는데, 주님의 천사가 꿈에 그에게 나타나서 말하였다. "다윗의 자손 요셉아, 두려워하지 말고, 마리아를 네 아내로 맞아 들여라. 그 태중에 있는 아기는 성령으로 말미암은 것이다. 마리아가 아들을 낳을 것이니, 너는 그 이름을 예수라고 하여라. 그가 자기 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원하실 것이다." 이 모든 일이 일어난 것은, 주님께서 예언자를 시켜서 이르시기를, "보아라, 동정녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이니, 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라고 할 것이다" 하신 말씀을 이루려고 하신 것이다. （임마누엘은 번역하면 '하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다'는 뜻이다.）요셉은 잠에서 깨어 일어나서, 주님의 천사가 말한 대로, 마리아를 아내로 맞아들였다. 그러나 아들을 낳을 때까지는 아내와 잠자리를 같이하지 않았다. 아들이 태어나니, 요셉은 그 이름을 예수라고 하였다.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel" (which means, God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife, but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called his name Jesus.

Romans 1:1-7

그리스도 예수의 종인 나 바울은 부르심을 받아 사도가 되었습니다. 나는 하나님의 복음을 전하기 위하여 따로 세우심을 받았습니다. 이 복음은 하나님께서 예언자들을 통하여 성경에 미리 약속하신 것으로 그의 아들을 두고 하신 말씀입니다. 이 아들은, 육신으로는 다윗의 후손으로 태어나셨으며, 성령으로는 죽은 사람들 가운데서 부활하심으로 나타내신 권능으로 하나님의 아들로 확정되신 분이십니다. 그는 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도이십니다. 우리는 그를 통하여 은혜를 입어 사도의 직분을 받았습니다. 그것은 우리가 그 이름을 전하여 모든 민족이 믿고 순종하게 하려는 것입니다. 여러분도 그들 가운데 들어 있어서, 예수 그리스도의 부르심을 받은 사람이 되었습니다. 나는 로마에 있는 모든 신도에게 이 편지를 씁니다. 하나님께서 여러분을 사랑하셔서, 그의 거룩한 백성으로 부르셨습니다. 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도께서 내려 주시는 은혜와 평화가 여러분에게 있기를 빕니다.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures, the gospel concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including yourselves who are called to belong to Jesus Christ; To all God's beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
