심판과 용서- 선택일까?(창6:5-8; 막2:1-12 - 박원일 목사 > 주일설교

여호와께서 사람의 죄악이 세상에 가득함과 그의 마음으로 생각하는 모든 계획이 항상 악할 뿐임을 보시고 땅 위에 사람 지으셨음을 한탄하사 마음에 근심하시고 이르시되 내가 창조한 사람을 내가 지면에서 쓸어버리되 사람으로부터 가축과 기는 것과 공중의 새까지 그리하리니 이는 내가 그것들을 지었음을 한탄함이니라 하시니라 그러나 노아는 여호와께 은혜를 입었더라(창6:5-8)

The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the ground, man and beast and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

수 일 후에 예수께서 다시 가버나움에 들어가시니 집에 계시다는 소문이 들린지라 많은 사람이 모여서 문 앞까지도 들어설 자리가 없게 되었는데 예수께서 그들에게 도를 말씀하시더니 사람들이 한 중풍병자를 네 사람에게 메워 가지고 예수께로 올새 무리들 때문에 예수께 데려갈 수 없으므로 그 계신 곳의 지붕을 뜯어 구멍을 내고 중풍병자가 누운 상을 달아 내리니 예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니 어떤 서기관들이 거기 앉아서 마음에 생각하기를 이 사람이 어찌 이렇게 말하는가 신성 모독이로다 오직 하나님 한 분 외에는 누가 능히 죄를 사하겠느냐 그들이 속으로 이렇게 생각하는 줄을 예수께서 곧 중심에 아시고 이르시되 어찌하여 이것을 마음에 생각하느냐 중풍병자에게 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 네 상을 가지고 걸어가라 하는 말 중에서 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되 내가 네게 이르노니 일어나 네 상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니 그가 일어나 곧 상을 가지고 모든 사람 앞에서 나가거늘 그들이 다 놀라 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 이르되 우리가 이런 일을 도무지 보지 못하였다 하더라(막2:1-12)

And when he returned to Caper'na-um after some days, it was reported that he was at home. And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, not even about the door; and he was preaching the word to them. And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him; and when they had made an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic lay. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, "Why does this man speak thus? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you question thus in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, `Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, `Rise, take up your pallet and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" -- he said to the paralytic -- "I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home." And he rose, and immediately took up the pallet and went out before them all; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"
