마7:7-12

7.○"구하여라, 주실 것이요, 찾아라, 찾을 것이요, 문을 두드려라,

열어 주실 것이다.

8. 구하는 사람마다 받을 것이요, 찾는 사람마다 찾을 것이요, 문을

두드리는 사람에게 열어 주실 것이다.

9. 너희 가운데서 아들이 빵을 달라고 하는데 돌을 줄 사람이 어디에

있으며,

10. 생선을 달라고 하는데 뱀을 줄 사람이 어디에 있겠느냐?

11. 너희가 악해도 너희 자녀에게 좋은 것을 줄 줄 알거든, 하물며

하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서, 구하는 사람에게 좋은 것을 주시지

않겠느냐?

12. ○그러므로 너희는 무엇이든지, 남에게 대접을 받고자 하는 대로,

너희도 남을 대접하여라. 이것이 율법과 예언서의 본뜻이다."

[7]"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

[8] For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

[9] Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

[10] Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?

[11] If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

[12] So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

갈6:7-10

7. ○자기를 속이지 마십시오. 하나님은 조롱을 받으실 분이 아니십니다. 사람은 무엇을 심든지, 심은 대로 거둘 것입니다.

8. 자기 육체의 욕망을 따라 심는 사람은 육체로부터 썩을 것을 거두고, 성령의 뜻을 따라 심는 사람은 성령으로부터 영생을 거둘 것입니다.

9. 선한 일을 하다가, 낙심하지 맙시다. 지쳐서 넘어지지 않으면, 때가 이를 때에 거두게 될 것입니다.

10. 그러므로 기회가 있는 동안에, 모든 사람에게 선한 일을 합시다.

특히 믿음의 식구들에게는 더욱 그렇게 합시다.

[7]Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

[8]For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

[9]And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.

[10]So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
